Yesterday was a national holiday called Marine Day with pretty good weather, and many peope enjoyed the beah area.

In The 34th annual conference of the Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ 2016), I again organize the international Session entitled Assistive Robotics.
Topics may cover a broad spectrum of assistive robotics, such as mechatronics, control, perception, planning, human-robot interaction, and rehabilitation.

Paper Submission
Authors are requested to follow the normal submission procedure and upload their papers electronically in PDF format through the conference website. The detailed procedure for submitting a paper is shown below. If you are not a member of RSJ, please use temporary RSJ ID 70100 for paper submission. The fee for one paper submission is included in the conference registration fee. For more submissions, extra submission fee (JPY5000/paper) is required.
昨日、戸畑キャンパスで掲題のワークショップが開催されました。
一般社団法人宗像医師会の塩谷理事からのお声がけがきっかけとなり企画された本ワークショップ。九工大からのシーズ提供や、宗像医師会、北九市立八幡病院、福岡歯科大学からのニーズ提供、また（株）匠からは日米におけるサービスロボット（特にAGV)の比較、など多角的にプレゼンテーションがなされました。
最後の総合討論では、塩谷理事、浦センター長と、フロアの主に企業の方々との間で、医療介護ドメインにおいてロボットを普及させる課題や方策について、盛んに意見交換がなされました。
具現化センターやスマートライフケア社会創造ユニットでは八幡病院や福岡歯科大学とは繋がりがありましたが、本ワークショップのおかげで、新たに宗像医師会とも繋がりができ、ぜひ今後に生かしたいと思いました。
今回、会場は百周年記念会館向かいの図書館AVホールでした。
今日、北九州学研都市テクニカルツアーが無事に完了しました。
3ラウンド合計で30人強の参加者があったのではないかと思います。皆さん、大変熱心で、いろいろと質問もいただきました。中部大学の平田先生もいらしていただき、鋭い質問をいくつかいただきました（先生の写真撮り忘れたー orz）。

今回のデモに向けて、３つの研究開発それぞれに進展があり、我々にとってもとても良い機会となりました。学生たちの頑張りを称賛したいと思います。
また、参加者の皆さまにも改めて感謝申し上げます。
Prof. Venture from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology gave a lecture entitled "What can motion teach us?" as an LSSE Seminar. Her lecture began with the history of biomechanics from the Renaissance era. Her lecture was very interactive by asking many inspiring questions.
