In the new semester at the graduate school, freshers tend to take lots of classes , and many report tasks also come out so it is not easy to take time to research. Shibata Laboratory holds a laboratory workshop every year using one or two days in Japanese "Golden Week" in order to put a start dash on the research of the new year and to not to extinguish the fires of freshers who are eager to learn.
First in the morning I explained my past research cases, its essential value, the problems left behind. In the afternoon, my students organized an experiential sessions of a number of research appratus. I hope that my students learned most of the research resources in the laboratory and that they will exploit it as much as possbile in the future.
