Today I gave an invited talk at a workshop, organized by Prof. Sozo Inoue, of ICIEV held at Kitakyushu International Conference Center in Kokura.
The talk was entitled "The Assist-As-Needed Principle for Computer Agents," and I tried to relate my works with the possible interests of the audience.
This talk was based on our two journal papers:
- Okada, T., Shibata, T., Tamei, T., et al. In-Home Posture Evaluation and Visual Feedback Training to Improve Posture with a Kinect-Based System in Parkinson’s Disease, Journal of Novel Physiotherapies
2014, 4(5), 232
- Obayashi, C., and Tamei, T. and Shibata, T. Assist-as-needed robotic trainer based on reinforcement learning and its application to dart-throwing, Neural Networks, 2014, 53, pp.52-60.
I thank Prof. Inoue for giving me this opportunity and Prof. Asami for chairing.
I also thank Dr. Mitsugami to make a question. I was indeed glad to see Dr. Mitsugami again!
